HN SinorRejoins Bank Board Bureau
May 25, 2017
HN Sinor, who had resigned from the position of one of the board members of BBB a while back citing slow implementation of its recommendations as the reason, has decided to come back after consulting with Vinod Rai, chairman,Bank Board Bureau.
HN Sinor had resigned from the board due to “inadequate progress”, the timing of which couldn’t be more coincidental as sudden transfers of chief executives of Bank of India and Punjab National Bank also took place around the same time.
After Sinor’s announcement the board had also started consulting with ShubhalalakhsmiPanse, Allahabad Bank’s former chairman, and Pradip Shah, former Cirsil’s chief executive, to become a board member.
