Home Loan Transfer Data Under Scanner for Fraudulent Direct Selling Agents

Housing finance regulator NHB is going through the data on home loan transfers to identify possible instances of fraud sales. The body is also planning to issue guidelines for direct selling agents to protect the borrowers.

NHB Managing Director S Kalyanaraman said that they are also looking at balance transfers for genuineness. He said that the main goal of NHB is to bring in professional and well-trained agents so as to protect the home buyers for their lifetime investments.
