ICICI Bank facilitates payments of custom duty online
ICICI Bank today announced the launch of an office for its clients both retail and corporate to pay customs duties digitally. Corporate clients can pay customs duty through the Bank’s Corporate Internet Banking (CIB) and portable banking application InstaBIZ, while retail clients can do as such through the Bank’s retail web banking platform. 

The clients can make online payments by choosing ICICI Bank from the list of banks on the site of Indian Customs Electronic Gateway (ICEGATE).

Mr. Hitesh Sethia, Head-Transaction Banking, ICICI Bank, said, “We at ICICI Bank are grateful to the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs for offering us the chance to enable digital payments of customs duty for our clients”. 

“This office enables a huge number of ICICI Bank clients to helpfully pay customs duty carefully through ICEGATE site. This is in accordance with our undertaking to constantly upgrade accommodation to our clients by offering them innovative products and services.”

ICICI Bank has been successfully facilitating with payment of direct and indirect taxes for over 10 years now.
