IDBI Wages: Unions Warn of Strikes

Demanding early wage revision, two unions All India Bank Officers’ Association (AIBOA) and All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) have announced executing two separate strike programson Tuesday.
The unions have also released a joint circular that says if the IDBI management continues to stick with their adamant attitude and if there is no support from the government, then the AIBOA and AIBEA will need to go down the path of agitation and strike action.
According to a report, the IDBI’s wage revision is pending since 1.11.2012, although it has been completed in all the other banks.
