IDFC Bank Appoints Sunil Kakar as MD, CEO

IDFC Ltd. has appointed Sunil Kakar as the new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the company. He will be assuming the roles on July 16 that will remain effective for three years, granted the shareholders approve of the same at the next annual general meeting. However, the bank has confirmed and accepted the resignation of the current MD and CEO Vikram Limaye who is set to join NSE as the new MD and CEO.
Kakar was working with IDFC Bank as the Group Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for budget and business planning, management of finances, etc.
