India Needs To Work Harder,” Says Alibaba's Founder Jack Ma

Alibaba’s billionaire founder Jack Ma recently made headlines after endorsing the 996 lifestyles to India, if it needed to buckle up for the race. He suggested that in order to save India’s economy, a tough overtime work schedule will need to be in order. This would include employees clocking long hours of 996 – 9 am to 9 pm, six days a week.

This statement made in the wake of the Indian government’s decision to band Chinese manufactured items. Reiterating on the same, Global Times further endorsed that India must seriously look at 996 if it hopes to raise its manufacturing competitiveness.
