India Second Last in Pension Schemes: Study

India was recently ranked poorly on a new global pension index in which 34 nations were included.
The Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index showed that countries across the globe are struggling to strike a balance between creating decent financial security for the senior citizens and maintaining the strength of their economy. India was ranked second lowest and is joined by others including South Korea, China, Argentine, etc. that were put under grade-D. On the other hand, Denmark and Netherlands topped the index with scores 80.2 and 80.3 respectively.
