Indian Bank Revises FCNR(B) Deposits’ Rates

Public sector lender Indian Bank has changed its interest rates on the Foreign Currency Non-Resident Banking (B) Deposits. According to the revisions, deposits of one year and above and less than two years will attract an interest rate of 2.43% in comparison to the old 2.36%. Similarly, for deposits of two years and above and less than three years will attract an interest rate of 2.59% in comparison to the old 2.50%. The remaining rates are as follows:

  • 76% (older was 2.70%) for deposits of 3-4 years
  • 86% (older was 2.82%) for deposits of 4-5 years
  • 96% (older was 2.89%) for deposits up to 5 years
