Indian electronic companies hit by China’s shutdown. (Coronavirus outbreak)

Delays in the launch of new products seen by smartphones and consumer electronics companies in India due to the coronavirus eruption in China which has disrupted the component supplies.

Critical components like mobile displays, open cell TV panels, LED chips are imported from China.

Vendors in China have increased the component prices by 2-3% due to the shortages of the supply triggered by the shutdowns of factories in China. The hike in the prices of the components will result in a hike in the prices of components in India.

Coronavirus has killed around 130 people in China by which activities of the industry in China has come to a halt.
According to sources, the new year holiday in China is extended which could affect the manufacturers of India.
