Indian Mobile Brands Vanishing, Says Motorola Mobility’s Sudhin Mathur

Sudhin Mathur, who is not only the managing director of Motorola Mobility but also a seasoned executive in the Indian mobile handset industry, said that he has always observed severe competition in the industry. He said that some of the top brands have vanished and less known brands have emerged that only goes to show how a transition takes place every 3-4 years.
Mathur was sharing his views during a recent interview when he said that Indian brands used to rule the market but things have changed now. He said it’s important to have a long-term view and change the business strategy every few years, which is why the trend is unlikely to continue, however.
