India’s GDP Grew Four Times in 2 Decades, Wages Only Two Times
According to a recent report, although India’s GDP grew four-fold during 1993-2012, wages grew only two-fold during the same period.

The report titled, “India Wage Report: Wage policies for decent work and inclusive growth”, published by the International Labour Organization (ILO) said that India needs to promote “inclusive growth” by reviewing its wage policies as problems like economic inequality, gender pay gap are still existent in the country.
