IndiGo's Eyes Europe-Asia Fliers With Budget Business Class Seats
May 16, 2019
IndiGo Airlines has captured almost half the Indian market in just over a decade by offering cheap, punctual flights – and charging extra for almost anything else. As one of the world’s most successful budget carriers, IndiGo, now plans on making its mark in the Europe-Asia by considering cutting the prices for business class seats.
IndiGo, which currently flies as far as Istanbul, is mapping out an ambitious long-distance network. The airline aims to start one-stop trips further into Europe within the next six months, and Chief Executive Officer Ronojoy Dutta said in an interview in New Delhi last week. To accomplish this, Dutta is not leaving any stone unturned and is considering everything from extra snacks to a brand-new business class.
