Individual loan business continues to improve in last few months

Home loan moneylender HDFC Ltd on Saturday said the organization’s individual credit business kept on showing improvement in the January-March quarter 2021 and advances worth ₹7,503 crore were allotted to its financial auxiliary.

“The individual advance business kept on seeing solid improvements during the quarter finished Match 31, 2021.

“During the quarter, compliant with the buyback alternative implanted in the home advance game plan between the Corporation and HDFC Bank, the Corporation assigned loans to the bank adding up to ₹7,503 crore,” HDFC said in an administrative documenting.

In the year prior same quarter finished March 2020, such loans assigned to HDFC Bank remained at ₹5,479 crore.

The individual loans sold in the first a year (April-March) added up to ₹18,980 crore (earlier year ₹24,127 crore), it said.

Also, the Corporation’s gross pay from profit for the March quarter was ₹110 crore as against ₹2 crore in the year-prior quarter. There was no offer of interests in subsidiary/partner organizations during January-March, as likewise in the year prior period, it added.
