IndusInd market lender faces major downfall after being the outperformer for past decade. It has a heavy exposure in telecommunication and real estate sector. Market lender IndusInd is the best performing stock from 2008 until 2018 when shadow bank crisis started.
According to Bloomberg, “the ratio of ‘buy’ calls has declined rapidly in the last decade. IndusInd’s exposure to Vodafone Idea Ltd. has resulted in a major downfall”.
Moody’s stated, “IndusInd is one of the highest exposures in real estate sector among all private banks in India”.
