Infosys Joins Hands with ToneTag for Audio Based Payment Service

Infosys Finacle, a subsidy of Infosys, has partnered with near-fields communications service provider ToneTag to create a payments service that uses sound wave technology.
ToneTag provides payments and location-based services that use sound waves. Under the partnership, Infosys plans to offer a joint a solution for proximity payments and interactions. It will be extremely useful for banks as the customers can authenticate on their own and make payments, interact with the banks, ATMs, and retail outlets in a fast and easy manner using their mobile phones.
