IRDAI Asks Insurers to Simply Process for Kerala Flood Victims
Although Keralites are struggling hard to cope with the prevalent flood situation, which doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, at least they will be able to settle their insurance claims faster. The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has directed all the insurance companies to offer an easier and simpler claims settlement process to the Kerala flood victims and their families. The procedure would be similar to the one followed during the 2015 Chennai floods.
