Ireland Seeks Investments in Pharma, IT from Indian Entities

Inviting Indian investors, Ireland said it has huge potential for domestic firms in IT and pharma sectors. Martin D Shanahan, CEO, Industrial Development Agency Ireland, said that UK-based Indian firms are invited to move their operations to Ireland as it will remain as a part of the European Union even after Brexit.  He also said that Ireland will become an ideal business place for them as it uses the same language and laws and could serve as an excellent gateway for exploring the European Markets too.

Shanahan also met with the officials of several companies such as TechMahindra, HCL, and Infosys, etc., in Mumbai to seek investments.
