Japanese Auto Giants Suzuki and Toyota Join Hands for Capital Tie-Up

Suzuki Motor Corp and Toyota Motor Corp have decided to join hands for a capital tie-up, broadcaster NHK informed this Wednesday. It’s worth noting that in 2016, both companies said that they are exploring a partnership to stay in line with consolidation in the international auto industry and to face technological challenges.

Earlier this year, the two auto companies said that they want to manufacture compact cars and electric cars with each other. Suzuki will also establish a compact ultra-high-efficiency powertrain with tech support from Denso Corp and Toyota.
