Jobs in BPO, IT to Plummet in Near Future: AICTE Chief

Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Anil Sahasrabudhe said that the future looks bleak for MBA and BTech students in India as the major recruitment industries including BPO and IT are going to come across a dead end soon.
Sahasrabudhe said that although the SME sector has some hope, the days for the mass hiring industries are over and they won’t exist in the near future to offer sizeable employment to the Indian professionals. He said that jobs in BPO and IT have now declined by 30% and 32% respectively.
