Kerala Floods: Govt Removes GST, Customs Duty for Relief Products from Overseas
As a commendable and welcome move, the government has waived Goods and Services Tax (GST) as well as customs duty on relief material that is sent from foreign countries to the victims of Kerala floods. 

Officiating Finance Minister, Piyush Goyal tweeted the decision adding that India stands with Kerala in this hour of need. He also said that, in view of the current circumstances in the state, the deadlines for filing GST returns for the month of July and August have been extended to 5th and 10th October respectively.
