Listed Firms Asked to Disclose FPI Details to Prevent Ban

Central bank RBI has asked all the listed companies to share the details of their Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) investments with the depositories lest they should be banned from receiving these investments in the future.

RBI and SEBI has decided to set up a mechanism to monitor foreign investment limits and asked the listed companies to provide their FPI details for them to become compliant with the same.

A notification has already been released regarding the new requirement by SEBI.
