Maharashtra Govt Released ₹4,461 cr for Drought-hit Farmers

Maharashtra government expressed sadness for the state farmers who are suffering because of recent draughts and said that as many as ₹4,461 crores have been deposited in the bank accounts of over 66 lakh farmers for relief in the tough times they are facing today.

Sudhir Mungantiwar, Finance Minister of state said that 4,461 cr has been credited in the bank accounts of farmers in 17,985 villages in more than 26 districts.
