Paytm, the Noida-based e-commerce payment system and financial technology organization, has been the pioneer of driving static QR codes in the previous five years. Today, it supports more than 17 million traders and is using by a huge number of people every day to pay for utilities, grocery products, film tickets, and the sky is the limit from there.

These static QR codes can be seen in even the small shops. Today. While that is as yet a route for dealers to acknowledge digital payments and at definitely no expense, Paytm has been chipping away at moving to Dynamic QR codes alongside IoT gadgets.

Based on the feedback from who updated from a Static QR code to a Dynamic QR code, Paytm began with the pilot three to four months back and rolled out 1,000 gadgets. It is hoping to carry out another 5,000 gadgets in the market to acquire consumer insights.

Sachin Ranglani, VP, Paytm said, “Choosing contactless payment alternatives has even more accentuated during the pandemic. The most well-known structure being, paying through cell phones”.
