Microsoft’s bot helps recovered patients to donate plasma

Tech giant Microsoft’s bot helps coronavirus recovered patients to donate their plasma for treatment efforts. The bot asks a series of questions on that basis it determines whether the person is a potential donor.

The plasma from the recovered patients can be used to fight the coronavirus in two ways. Microsoft has partnered COVIg-19 plasma Alliance to study the therapies and the bot is available on the COVIg-19 website.

Microsoft said, “This Alliance can save several lives and possibly much sooner than other ways that are currently being developed”.
