More than 90% Indian Customers Prefer Branches over Online Banking

According to a new study, 94% of the Indian customers prefer going to their bank branch over online banking. This is surprising considering the numerous initiatives the government has taken in the near past to push online banking services and a digital economy.
The “Retail Banking Study” by Oracle J.D. Power India which was compiled on the basis of interviews with over 5,000 retail banking customers revealed that only 51% of the retail banking customers have a reliable online banking experience with their bank.
