Most Digital Workplace Initiatives Likely to Fail Establishing New Ways of Working, Says Garter

According to Garter, nearly 75% of medium and large organizations will fail in targeting new ways of working in 80% of their initiatives by 2021. These include redesigned physical workplaces, virtual and remote work, and distributed decision making.

Vice President at Garter, Carol Rozwell said that workplace leaders need to change their mindset about their employees which they see as change-resistant entities and instead involve them in creating the path forward with combined efforts. He said that the leaders should focus on creating people-oriented designs that help strategize new ways of working.
