Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway Receiving Bids from 33 Companies

In response to the second call by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), 33 companies have raised bids for the Nagpur-Mumbai expressway. Out of these, 16 companies have joined hands and formed 190 groups, while the remaining are bidding singly. The single bids are mainly from the Indian companies, although three are Chinese and two are based in Singapore and Kuwait.

According to MSRDC, 90% of the land for the project has been acquired. However, farmers claim that they haven’t given their consent yet, and also alleged that the project’s joint measurement survey was conducted forcibly.
