NDA Govt Spent Over ₹52 bn in Advertisements Since 2014-15
Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore informed the Lok Sabha that over ₹52 billion has been spent so far on advertisements in electric, print and other media by the central government since 2014-15.  He said that ₹9.79 billion was spent in 2014-15, ₹11.60 billion in 2015-16, ₹12.64 billion in 2016-17, ₹13.13 billion in 2017-18, and ₹5.27 billion in 2018-19 so far. 

Rathore also said that ₹23.12 billion was spent on print advertisements and ₹23.12 billion on publicity via audio-visual media. The remaining ₹6.51 billion was spent on outdoor publicity.
