Nearing Festive Season Creates 15,000 Job Opportunities in E-Commerce

With a slew of major festivals nearing in India, e-commerce companies are preparing to appoint nearly 15,000 individuals to help keep up with the increased demand.
A number of festivals including Ganesh Chaturthi, Raksha Bandhan, Christmas, Diwali, and New Year are celebrated between August and January in India, a peak period during which the online stores sell a whopping Rs. 10,000 crores worth of goods. At present, there are nearly one million people employed in the sector.
