Net Worth of 831 Rich Indians Make for 25% of GDP

According to a Barclays-Hurun India rich list, the number of Indians having a net worth of ₹1,000 crores or more have increased by 34% today and the average age on the list is 60. Their combined assets and funds are to the tune of $719 billion which is roughly a quarter of the entire nation’s GDP.
Mukesh Ambani is the richest Indian with a net worth of ₹3.71 trillion followed by 830 other Indians whose net worth is at least ₹1,000 crores in 2018. Last year, there were only 590 Indians who belonged to the category.
