New Mobile Banking Malware Attack: ICICI Bank Says Not a Threat

Even as the new mobile malware that reportedly tries to steal a user’s sensitive banking information is still doing the rounds of the social media and has left many banks as well as the customers highly concerned, private sector ICICI Bank said it “seems to be not very significant.”
The comment comes from B Madhivanam, who is the chief technology and digital officer of the bank. He said that there is always someone who tries to attack; that’s how the cyber criminals work. However, he added, that the bank is capable of defending against the malware with the help of its multilevel securities.
