Now This: Paytm Starts Selling Gold Online for as Low as Rs. 1

Digital money company Paytm has partnered with MMTC-PAMP to roll out “Digital Gold”, a product that will allow customers to buy 24K 999.9 gold for a price as small as Rs. 1. The gold can be traded, stored, or delivered to the buyer in the form of standard coins.
Paytm’s CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma said that since gold is a popular form of investment in India, they are making it easier for their customers to invest in gold through the Internet.
The new service offered through Paytm and MMTC-PAMP partnership allows the users to buy gold online and store it in secure MMTC-PAMP vaults. They can also trade it or have it delivered to them at their homes.
