Now Uttrakhand DMs will Clear Projects up to Rs. 10 Crores

In a bid to improve investment opportunities in Uttrakhand, the state government has given the district magistrates the authority to clear projects worth up to Rs. 10 crores.
Chief Secretary S Ramaswamy was talking to a foreign delegation led by Belgian Ambassador Jan Luykx when he mentioned that now projects worth more than Rs. 10 crores only will be cleared by the committee headed by him. During the conversation Luykx had also expressed his desire to invest in Uttrakhand’s food processing and related sectors on his country’s behalf, opining that the state has potential in medicinal herb plantation.
