Now Withdraw from ATMs Using SBI Buddy; No Hike in Standard Withdrawals

India’s largest lender SBI is set to roll out a new facility with which its customers will be able to withdraw money from ATMs using the money from their mobile wallet i.e. SBI Buddy. To avail this facility, however, they will be charged Rs. 25 for each transaction.

A recent rumour that was floating around especially on the social media, that SBI will be charging its customers for standard ATM transactions an additional Rs. 25 as the service charge, has been denied by the lender. As per Rajnish Kumar’s statement, who is the MD of SBI, for normal savings accounts the service charge on ATM withdrawals has not been changed.
