NPCI to Roll Out RuPay Credit Card Soon

Making its first foray into credit cards service, the National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI) is set to launch RuPay Credit Card within a month.
NCPI, which currently offers debit cards only, has joined hands with 10 public sector and cooperative banks to launch the pilot program of the RuPay Credit Card.
M Balachandran, NPCI Chairman, said that the organization will undertake over 300 workshops as a part of the launch campaign and also plans to offer “tap and go” cards for the Kochi Metro project soon.
