Online demand for non-essential goods gone down

India’s top online markets including Amazon and Flipkart are seeing a huge demand for non-essential goods across the country in the last few weeks. The spending of the online customers defers by the outbreak of the coronavirus which affecting the e-tailers businesses.

Senior Executive at India’s top e-commerce firm said, “The current estimates point at 60-70% of demand recovering even after the restrictions for the e-tailers are eased in the country. It is seen that people are buying goods only when it is necessary”.

E-tailers are waiting for permission for selling the non –essential products during the lockdown in the areas which are classified as red zones.
