Oracle expects higher cloud adoption among Indian businesses

The effect of the COVID-19 pandemic is driving cloud selection in Indian organizations as indicated by a top Oracle India official as organizations diagram long haul plans for telecommute and update their organization’s coherence plans.

Sriram Rajan, Vice President, Cloud (India) at Oracle said, “We’ve had many top associations in their businesses moving to Oracle Cloud in the last 2-3 months. These associations are in social insurance, BFSI enterprises”.
“We’re becoming aware of CXO pressure on Chief Information Officers, proposing spends be better used to drive center business development, instead of ‘overseeing IT’. Gaining extra income, expanding client dependability and such will trigger the requirement for a more OPEX (working cost) model for IT as such, a cloud model,” he said.
