Over 300 Apple Workers Employed for Listening to Siri Recordings Laid Off

According to The Guardian, more than 300 contractual workers that were appointed by Apple for the controversial Siri program have been fired. Under the program, the workers could listen to the private conversations of the iPhone users which included their personal medical records, couples having sex, etc.

The report said that the contractors were told to go to their homes as there were “technical errors” that wouldn’t let them work. However, Apple told the contracting firms later that the grading work for which the contractors were appointed will be scrapped.
