Over 600 Infra Projects Launched in 4 Years, Says Report

Infrastructural development has increased considerably in the past few years as the NDA government boosted the number of projects by 87%. There are around 1,361 projects underway today.
According to a CARE Ratings report, in April 2014, there were 727 infrastructure projects. In August 2018, the number of projects increased to over 1,300. It said that the highest number of projects were implemented in the road sector which has 39.87% of the total infrastructure projects. It’s followed by railways that has 25.71% of projects.
