Pakistan Economic Growth Projected at 3.3%, Well Below Targeted 6.6%
June 11, 2019
As per an Economic Survey, Pakistan’s economic growth for the financial year ending in June is projected to clock at 3.3% which misses the target of 6.6% by a huge margin. It’s based the poor performance on the fact that the nation failed to meet most of the targets in different sectors.
The report said that barring the livestock sector in which Pakistan showed higher growth than the target, all the other sectors observed sub-par performance.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the first year performance of the new government clearly indicates PM Imran Khan’s failure and incompetence.
