Paytm aims to raise 10crore for oxygen concentrators

Payment platform Paytm said it is expecting to raise ₹10 crore to purchase 3,000 oxygen concentrators in the midst of the continuous oxygen supply emergency in India. The nation is as of now in the grasp of a solid second flood of Covid-19 with record every day cases in India.

Paytm has asked clients to give for a similar reason and it will coordinate with every gift to grow to the all-out raise support for oxygen concentrators.

More than 1,000 oxygen concentrators worth ₹4 crore have effectively been requested through Paytm Foundation’s crisis relief funds, the organization said in a statement. It will send these to government clinics, Covid-19 care centres, private hospitals, NGOs and other relevant avenues.

Paytm said it is in chats with organizations, non-resident Indians (NRIs) to join the reason and total generally speaking interest for mass purchasing of oxygen concentrators.

Paytm has raised over ₹1.5 crore not long after beginning the mission, and with Paytm’s commitment of coordinating with the sum, the aggregate sum raised stands at ₹3 crore.
