Petrol-Diesel Prices to Change Every Day After June 16

According to Indian Oil, public sector oil marketing companies are planning to revise petrol and diesel prices on a regular basis. Today, this pattern is observed in only five cities in the country- Vishakhapatnam, Udaipur, Puducherry, Jamshedpur, and Chandigarh, which were a part of the pilot program. Since the program was found to be successful, the oil marketing companies are now planning to roll out the system in the entire country on June 16.
Indian Oil said that the daily revision of the prices will help retail prices become more reflective of the market fluctuations and limit volatility.
