Plaza Premium Group selects AWS for global growth
Amazon web services, the cloud computing arm of Amazon.com said that leading airport hospitality provider Plaza premium group has select AWS to drive its global growth. 
 
Plaza premium group has closed two of its data centres and transferred the vast majority of its IT infrastructure to AWS. 
 
AWS said, “Plaza premium group is leveraging the breadth and depth of AWS services, including network and content delivery, blockchain, management, and governance, to expand its presence over 500 geographical areas by next few years, including lounges at the 100 busiest airports globally, at 40% lower cost”. 
 
As a part of digital transformation, Plaza premium group is helping its business partners, including airports, airlines, and travel operators. With AWS plaza premium group can also deploy IT services in new locations much faster and innovate new solutions.
 
Before migrating to AWS, Plaza premium group was experiencing technological limitations using on infrastructure, which made upgrading architecture, expanding into new markets, and building new client services challenging.
