PM Modi to Soon Release New Industrial Policy to Support Domestic Manufacturing

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to issue a New Industrial Policy soon that’s been long-awaited by industry stakeholders. One of the changes that it will bring about include allowing units located in industrial clusters to share their infrastructure. So, the companies won’t need to purchase equipment or land as they can simply lease them which will help in reducing costs and time required for the setting up operations.
Modi is expected to release the policy well before the general elections as the pressure is already high on the NDA government for failing to generate enough employment.
