Preparations for Minimum Income Guarantee Have Begun, Says Ashok Gehlot

Rajasthan’s new Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that he welcomes the announcement of the minimum income guarantee by Congress President Rahul Gandhi and that he has already started preparations to roll out the scheme as soon as possible.
Gehlot said that Congress governments in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh are working to fulfil the promises made by Gandhi earlier.
Rahul Gandhi recently announced minimum income guarantee scheme for the poor and it has become one of the USPs of the Congress party ahead of the upcoming general elections.
