Pulwama Attack: Govt Hikes Pakistani Imports to 200%
In light of the Pulwama terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 40 CRPF jawans, the government has increased the customs duty of all goods that are imported from Pakistan to 200%. Industry experts say that with such a massive hike, the imported goods are as good as banned. This is because now the final prices of these goods will be so high that they will have no edge over the other imported goods.

The customs duty hike will affect the sale of some of the most popular Pakistan imports like raw cotton, glass, processed minerals, etc.
