RBI Deputy Governor Post Finds 9 Suitable Candidates, to be Interviewed on May 10

For the post of RBI Deputy Governor that has been vacant for many months now, the search panel under the supervision of Cabinet Secretary has shortlisted 9 candidates.
The panel i.e. Financial Sector Regulatory Appointment Search Committee (FSRASC) received around 40 applications for the post that was made vacant after the former Deputy Governor S S Mudra completed his 3-year term in July last year.
The 9 shortlisted candidates which include SBI managing directors P K Gupta and B Sriram, IDBI Bank managing director M K Jain, will be interviewed on May 10.
