RBI Opens a Branch in Dehradun

To facilitate the transactions of the state government and increase convenience, the Central Bank, i.e. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has opened a branch in Dehradun.

Trivendra Singh, Chief Minister of Uttrakhand, who inaugurated the RBI branch said that it’s an important step that will not only make financial transactions of the state government more convenient but also help in the promotion of state’s economic development.

The state government of Uttrakhand was doing its financial transactions through the Kanpur branch of the RBI until now.
