Reforms Necessary to Meet Clean Energy Targets, Says Study

According to a study released by US-based Institute for Energy Economics & Financial Analysis (IEEFA), a reforms push is necessary for the renewable energy domain for the Indian government to meet the clean energy target of 275 Gw by 2027.

Energy economist and author of the report that was issued by the Institute, Vibhuti Garg said that the promises made by the newly elected government must be fulfilled by it taking initiatives towards fighting air pollution, climate change, and increasing the capacity of renewable energy production across the country.
