Rising India Summit 2019: India Inc. Demands Tax Rationalization

The second session of the Rising India Summit 2019 was attended by several corporates recently during which one of the key points that were raised was the rationalization of taxes.
During the event, chairman of SpiceJet Ajay Singh said that India has the highest number of taxes and that the taxes on aviation are “crazy”. Similarly, Ebix Inc CEO Robin Raina emphasized on the need for building intellectual property and that the government should consider rationalization of taxes.
